The Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan oil pipeline is now carrying nearly a million barrels of oil each day. From 2008, 80 percent of that oil should be Azerbaijani.

The pipeline’s capacity is 50 million tons a year, but expansion plans could up capacity to 80 million tons yearly.
