Interpress Research, the polling arm of Interpressnews, conducted a telephone poll of 500 respondents asking, “Where do you prefer to rest: in the mountains or by the sea?”

A seaside holiday edged out a respite in hills, with 48.6 percent of respondents choosing the sea over 40 percent opting for the mountains, according to the newspaper Kviris Palitra. 11.4 percent simply couldn’t decide.

The next question was, “In which country would you want to spend your holiday?” Turkey was the pick, followed closely by Italy. 12.4 percent of respondents said they’d just as soon stay in Georgia.
