Georgia Fifth Largest Azerbaijani Trade Partner

Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with CIS states in the first half of the year came to USD 1.4 billion, 28 percent of its total trade turnover of about USD 5 billion.

USD 894.5 million was spent on imports from CIS countries. Exported goods were mainly oil, gas and asphalt.

Georgia, which bought up USD 122 million in Azerbaijani exports, is the country’s fifth largest trade partner, according to the news agency Regnum.
