Iran finds new reserves of natural gas

A new natural gas field has been discovered in the gas-rich central province of Fars in Iran, the news agency Regnum reports.

Officials in Tehran stated the new field could produce 30 million cubic feet of natural gas daily, using 17 wells.

"The natural gas available at this gas field is…very suitable for the country's natural gas network," said Iranian Oil Minister Kazem Vaziri-Hamaneh, according to Dow Jones Newswires.
