The Association for People in Need of Special Care held a small Christmas bazaar last weekend at a Tbilisi daycare centre.

The fair showcased handmade weave and woodcrafts, beeswax and paraffin candles and paintings.

The daycare center was founded in 1990 and accommodates 40 people who are cared for by staff and volunteers.

The centre offers therapy, art and cultural activities for its residents and the items they produce are sold in Tbilisi shops.

The center needs financial assistance as it cannot support itself.
