ICC-Georgia holds Inaugural Dinner

The International Chamber of Commerce-Georgia held its Inaugural Dinner on May 1.

Prime Minister Lado Gurgenidze, Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze and Minister of Economic Development Eka Sharashidze attended the event.

ICC-Georgia board chairman Fady Asly delivered a speech outlining the plans of the business chamber of offering a prognosis of the country’s economy. [Read the text of the speech.]

Representative of ICC-Georgia member organizations also spoke, including Kakha Asanishvili of the Georgian Lawyers’ Association, Aleksandre Omanadze from the Association of Insurance Companies, Gilbert Hie from the Georgian-French Business Association.

All speakers expressed commitment toward building the Georgian economy.

Minister Eka Sharashidze expressed her appreciation for the gathering of leading business figures, and promised complete support for the organization’s plans.
