Patarkatsishvili estate denies cooperating with Berezovsky

The family of late Georgian business tycoon Badri Patarkatsishvili denies it is cooperating with Russian businessman Boris Berezovsky.

“I confirm once again that the Patarkatsishvili family does not share Berezovsky’s views and personal aspirations regarding politics and business, and that it categorically refuses to cooperate with him. The family in no way cooperates with him, nor does it aspire to set up such links,” a statement released by the business tycoon’s widow reads.

“Information to the contrary is deliberate and false,” it adds.

The statement acknowledges that the two men were business partners and friends, but says due to differences in their political opinions they decided to separate their business activity from politics.

Patarkatsishvili died at his English mansion in February. Doctors suggest a heart attack was to blame. (Prime News)
