Armenia underlines importance of stable Georgia

Armenian President Serzh Sarkisyan underlined the importance of political stability in Georgia at a July 21 press conference, the news agency Regnum reports. Sarkisyan said Armenia is dependent on Georgia as an export route.

I will have opportunities to meet Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili in the near future with the aim of finding new possibilities [for cooperation], he said.

Armenia has a closed border with both Azerbaijan and Turkey.
