Turkey a prime spot for Georgian holidaymakers

In the first half of the year a total of 272 000 Georgians visited Turkey on vacation, according to the news agency Regnum.
Germany accounts for the biggest share of vacationers to Turkey, with 1.3 million Germans heading there in the first half of 2008. Russia came in second with figure of around half a million, with the UK and Holland following.
