Population concerned about economic situation

The Georgian-language internet edition of Kommersant has carried out a poll which asked readers if the current economic crisis in Georgia is negatively influencing the welfare of families. 60.2% of respondents said yes, 22.5% said yes, but partially, and 17.3% said no.

The Kviris Palitra newspaper has also carried out a poll, which asked how the economic situation in Georgia would change after the war. 502 people responded, of which 40.3% said the economy would slowly regain its prewar strength, 12.3% said it would improve considerably, 31.2% said that it would considerably deteriorate and 16.2% gave no answer.
