RAK Ceramics in Georgia

Thursday, December 18
The Sheraton Metechi Palace Hotel has hosted a presentation of goods produced by RAK Ceramics, one of the world’s leading ceramics companies which has been exporting to over 135 countries around the globe for the past 10 years.

The RAK Ceramics shop in Tbilisi has been open since 2007, offering customers ceramic tiles, sanitation products and porcelain. RAK Ceramics is part of the Rakeen business family, which is one of the biggest investors in Georgia and has carried out several very significant projects here, in particular the creation of the Poti port industrial zone and the construction of various residential and commercial buildings. According to Reji Mathew, Area Sales Manager, Georgia has been recently added to the company’s portfolio but is as important as any of their main markets.

“Actually we are proud to be a part of the story here and we take pride in telling people that we have our own subsidiary here in Georgia for marketing our products,” he said. He also added that in these difficult times, when many businesses are slowing down, RAK Ceramics has increased its production.
