Georgia uses Turkish arms

Rezonansi, citing Turkish sources, has published information on the volume of arms sold to different countries by Turkey last year. Colombia has been Turkey’s biggest customer, purchasing arms worth around USD 12 million, second is Georgia with purchases of around USD 7 million and third the UAE which has bought around USD 3.5 million worth.

In 2008 Azerbaijan purchased the Turkish arms worth around USD 160,000. Altogether Turkey sold arms to 26 countries, worth around USD 27 million, in 2008.
