Turkish information agency Anadolu, based on unofficial figures, assumes that annual trade turnover between Turkey and Armenia today is around USD 200 million. This trade is mostly conducted through Georgia.

Every year Armenia exports scrap metal worth 4-5 million dollars to Turkey. Armenia-Turkey business forum senior officials have told Anadolu that due to the unsatisfactory quality of Iranian products Armenians likewise prefer to purchase Turkish goods. If the mutual border is opened the value of Turkish- Armenia turnover will reach around USD 400 million.
