International Investors Association established

The International Investors Association has been established with its headquarters in Batumi. This body has representatives in all regions and will unite up to 40 companies which have invested more than USD 100,000 in Georgia and have more than 30 employees working for them.

To become a member of the Association a company will pay a USD 2,000 membership fee and a USD 200 monthly service fee. The Secretary General of the Association is Tamaz Shavadze, who has said that the organisation has wide-ranging plans to attract investors into Georgia.
