Do you think you will have enough heat and supplies for winter?

Tuesday, September 29
“Well our heating source is gas, so if there is no problem with gas in the country we will have enough heat. Otherwise I do not even know how we will manage to keep warm at home, maybe electric heating is the most convenient but it is expensive.”
Nani, housewife, 48

“We have a wood stove and we have just bought wood, so if there is any problem with gas or electricity it will not affect our domestic heating. As for other supplies, I have some canned jam, stewed fruits and tomatoes.”
Natasha, pensioner, 67

“I think we have enough heat and supply and we will get through this winter without a problem like the last one. The main thing is for there to be peace in the country, then the rest will be OK.”
Rezi, student, 20

“I hope so. I don’t want to think that we will have to sit in cold houses like we did in the 90s. Last year was quite normal, we won’t see anything bad this winter hopefully.”
Izo, housewife, 50

“I hope none of the countries that supply us with gas will decide to suspend it. Otherwise I don’t think there can be any major problems.”
Gia, engineer, 43

“Maybe our supply will be enough but I am afraid I will not have enough money to pay the bills. I will have to consume less electricity and gas this year, as my salary has been reduced.”
Nona, shop assistant, 31

“I think that our country will have no problems in this direction, but Georgian citizens have to live in very bad economic conditions and I am afraid that many families will not be able to have enough heat.”
Levan, worker, 38

“To tell the truth I have never had enough heat supply for winter, as I do not have quite enough of an income to pay the bills. This winter it will be the same situation in my house.”
Lia, teacher, 41

“I think I will, as I have a good job and so do my family members. The most important thing is that our Government manages not to cause problems in this direction.”
Giga, businessman, 29
