What do you do to avoid catching H1N1 flu?

Monday, December 14
"I try to take care of my health, I use a mask in public transport. I also frequently drink tea with lemon."
Nino, student, 21

"To tell the truth I do nothing to avoid H1N1. I do not think that these special masks will protect me from the virus, as my family members may be infected and through them the virus may spread to me, and I do not think people use them at home. If I do not feel good I visit the doctor."
Davit, painter, 31

"I am more careful now than I was last year, and as soon as I do not feel good I see the doctor. I have already visited the doctor three times, but fortunately I have had seasonal flu and not H1N1."
Tamar, teacher, 41

“Frankly, I am very frightened by the so-called Swine Flu and try to follow advice given by the National Centre for Disease Control. I eat products that contain vitamin C and wear a mask when I am out.”
Mariana, student, 22

“I try to get vitamin C, which is the best defence against flu, and drink herbal tea. I do not like medicine so I prefer to take herbal medicines in order to avoid the flu.”
Irma, teacher, 50

“To tell the truth I do not do anything special to combat Swine Flu. I have a very strong immune system and I am sure I would get over it without any complications and without medicines.”
Irakli, manager, 26

“All I do is use a special mask on public transport and wash my hands frequently. I don’t know any other methods of avoiding this flu.”
Tea, student, 21

“I don’t do anything; actually I have no idea what I should do to prevent the flu. I think it is impossible to fight tiny bacteria by yourself, you should take some medicines.”
Giorgi, economist, 25

“I wash my hands very frequently and take honey mixed with water every morning to raise the immune system. There is not much I can do to prevent this awful flu.”
Mari, housewife, 37
