An impressive fashion show was held on Tuesday 15 December by Greek companies Dika, Alexi Andriotti and Okfe to present to the Georgian public their new winter 2009-2010 collection. The Greek fashion show took place at the Dika shop on Rustaveli Avenue. Dika is a very popular company in Georgia and it has been here since October 2006. “The Winter 2009-2010 Collection marks an evolution from previous lines with an emphasis on structure and creative new combinations of high quality fabrics” said Ms Maria Marsenits, Manager of the Dika shop.

Alexi Andriotti, a leading company in the field of accessories and clothes with a trendy cosmopolitan flavour, has a totally new approach to the global accessories market. The company has been active for more than two years in Georgia and this year opened a second branch in Tbilisi. Owner of the Tbilisi branches Peter McDowell explained that “Alexi Andriotti products originate from the most exotic places in the world, adding an element of differentiation to our wardrobe. The concept of the company also requires our shops to have a consistent design globally and powerful communications and image, enabling them to reach a large target audience. I would like to underline my personal commitment that the Alexi Andriotti company will continue to provide Georgian clients with high quality and trendy accessories and clothes.”

The third participant of the show was Okfe, which imports furs into Georgia from the Greek town of Kastoria, where there are, traditionally, the top quality fur manufacturers of Greece. Themis Terzopoulos, the owner of Okfe, highlighted the importance of these kind of events in making Georgian people familiar with Greek fashion, adding that “A fashion show is a significant event that brings out the style in all of us. This fashion show is influenced by every trend and element of our clothes.”
