Ukraine not happy with ferry routes to other countries

By Messenger Staff
Tuesday, March 16
Certain forces in Ukraine do not want the ferry routes between Ukraine and Georgia and Ukraine and Bulgaria to operate. On March 12 this issue was discussed and voted on in the Ukrainian Parliament. 169 MPs voted to renounce the bilateral agreements which created these routes whereas 226 were against. The agreements on the joint operation of these rail ferry routes is therefore still in force, but the fact that the vote was taken does not bode well for Georgia.
