Disability Forum Fair in Tbilisi

On June 14 the II Disability Forum Fair, dedicated to Georgia’s National Day for Disabilities, was held in the Sheraton Metechi Palace Hotel. The aim of the forum was to raise public awareness of disability issues and strengthen cooperation between organisations working in the disability field.

42 local NGOs, governmental and international organisations participated in the disability forum, which opened with panel discussions, presentations of documentary films and a photo exhibition.

The II Disability Forum Fair was organised through the USAID project Equal Opportunities for People with Disabilities and implemented by Save the Children, the Coalition for Independent Living and First Step Georgia.
