Russia invests in North Caucasus

On September 9, 2010 Russian Deputy Minister of Healthcare and Social Development, Maxim Topolin, stated that the level of unemployment has not increased much recently in the Russian federation. Going into details, Topolin mentioned that the most problematic regions are its North Caucasus territories which will soon be receiving serious financial support. Out of 27 billion rubles allotted by the Russian central government for the solution of unemployment problems, 3 billion will go into the North Caucasus region.
