The smallest salary in Armenia in the south Caucasus

By September 1, 2010 the average salary in Armenia was approximately 230 USD. In Georgia, the average salary is above 300 USD, in Azerbaijan up to 400 USD and in Russia up to 500 USD. However Georgia is at the bottom of the list when it comes to pensions with only 48 USD going to its pensioners. Whereas, in Armenia it is 60 USD, in Azerbaijan they receive 110 USD and Russia pays 230 USD.
