On Ocotber 4-5, 2010 the Georgian Real Estate Association (GREA) is hosting a 2-day educational program - CEREAN International Real Estate Course (CIREC).

The educational Program is under the aegis of the the International Organizations Central European Real Estate Associations Network (CEREAN) and International Real Property Foundation (IRPF).

The program is designed for real estate industry players, specifically for real estate agents, brokers, realtors and real property managers.

The goal of the program is to help those involved in real estate business in professional growth and in the provision of high quality services to their clients.

Therefore the program focuses on three important topics:

1. Professional Ethics, the Code of Ethics, and the ROLE of the Association

2. How to become a SUCCESSFUL real estate agent

3. International Practice managing a Brokerage Company

GREA Board, lead by GREA President Mr. Alexander Japaridze, is the instigator of many advanced initiatives. A few months ago, a Memorandum of Cooperation was entered into between the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and the Georgian Real Estate Association (GREA). This Memorandum conceives the involvement of GREA professional realtors in the sales process of state-owned property.

GREA is seeking to increase the number of professional agents and realtors, to establish ethical behaviour in the real estate business and ensure that any society member, when dealing with real property sales or purchases, is provided with professional service of a realtor or sales agent.
