Library of Public School ¹45 supplied with New Books

Tuesday, October 19
The refurbishment of school libraries continues. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkin and General Director of BasisBank, David Tsaava presented the library of Public School ¹45 with new books.

BasisBank responded to the initiative on refurbishing school libraries and purchased more than 100 books for Public School ¹45.

The refurbishment of school libraries is the President’s initiative and a priority of MES. According to the initiative supplying school libraries with the books started at the beginning of the academic year. MES thanks all the organisations and people including BasisBank who have supported the process and donated books to school libraries.

MES supplies school libraries with literature as well as textbooks and educational material. For the first time this year, all vulnerable school children were provided with free textbooks. Supplying school libraries with secondary textbooks is underway. All school children will be able to use them.

Public School ¹45 is a distinguished school in Gldani; it has around 800 pupils. The school management and teachers are constantly improving teaching methods and refurbishing the school infrastructure. Pupils at this school participate in educational Olympiads and different intellectual and sports activities.
