By the Initiative of MES, Schoolchildren Will Frequently Visit Theatres

Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini signed a Memoranda of Cooperation with Nodar Dumbadze Tbilisi State Children’s Theatre and G. Mikeladze State Puppet Theatre.

According to the announcement of the Minister, theatres play a significant role in the schoolchildren’s esthetic upbringing and supports personal development of adults. In order to increase schoolchildren’s interest in arts and culture, MES is beginning cooperation with the theatres.

In the scope of the Memoranda of Cooperation, MES takes responsibility to inform the schools about the ongoing repertoire of theatres and to ensure effective communication between the Public Schools and theatres.

Theatres, from their side, will perform plays according to the ages and the school program of the schoolchildren, create a comfortable and interesting environment, offer affordable tickets and hold thematic meetings between the actors and the schoolchildren if the schools wish.
