Several private law companies are implementing the project “Law in Our Lives” with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. As part of the new project, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Irine Kurdadze and representatives of law firms visited Public School ¹ 87, spoke with the children about legal issues and answered their questions.

“Law in Our Lives” will be implemented in Tbilisi Secondary Schools gradually. The project will ensure students have a basic knowledge of law. As a result, citizens will be able to protect their rights and study as well as acknowledge their responsibilities before their country and society.

The project is designed to establish a strong, active and fair society and this is why schools were chosen for its implementation. This period of human development is especially important to show the person the fair way of life and skills to protect their rights. People try to develop their own roles in society, which results in many difficulties. In this situation, creating legal knowledge is important at this age in order to overcome complexities.
