Azeri economy developing dynamically

Azerbaijani independent MP Rasim Musabekov stated that in 2010, the Azeri economy was developing dynamically, with a 4.5% of economic growth rated. The country’s currency reserves increased up to USD 30 bln. New oil and gas fields were explored. The country is also building up its transport infrastructure, constructing schools, hospitals, sports buildings, and is modernizing cities. However, the MP expressed his regret that in the background, social -political institutions in the country are developing very slowly. He mentioned the violation of human rights, problems with corruption, and an ineffective state governing system among other things.
