Tuesday, February 15
It is predicted that GDP in Armenia will exceed the forecast 4.6% growth in 2011, perhaps even reaching pre-economic crisis level, stated Armenia’s economy minister Tigran Davtian on February 12.

The Minister also mentioned that the crisis forced Armenia to diversify its economy and that the country has started developing long term programmes. In addition as a result of the crisis the government has had to improve the country’s business environment and now the country’s highest priority is to support export oriented enterprises.
