OSCE Chairperson-in-Office met David Bakradze

David Bakradze, the Chairman of the Parliament, held the meeting with the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azubalis.

At the meeting the parties discussed the bilateral relations between the countries, situation on the occupied territories and the priorities of Lithuania's Chairmanship of the OSCE.

According to the statement of the Chairman of the Parliament, Lithuania is a friend of Georgia and an important partner country. He spoke concerning the proceeding of Geneva negotiations, the situation on the occupied territories and the IDPs, and activation of the OSCE mission in regard to monitoring of the occupied territories.

According to the statement the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azubalis, Lithuania supports Georgia’s democratic development and welcomes the reforms implemented by the Government of Georgia.

George Tsereteli and Paata Davitaia, the Deputy Chairmen of the Parliament, the First Deputy Chairman o f the Committee on European Integration Irakli Kenchoshvili, and Irakli Kavtaradze, the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations attended the meeting of David Bakradze and Audronius Azubalis.

Azubalis arrived in Georgia from Azerbaijan, where he held the official meetings during 13 and 14 March. He will stay in Georgia during two days and will be in Armenia on 17 and 18 March.
