Georgian-Czech chamber of commerce opened in Prague

The Georgian-Czech chamber of commerce was officially opened in Prague on March 17. The event was attended by First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Archil Kekelia, Deputy Director of the National Investment Agency, Ia Janashia and Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Georgian in Czech Republic, Nino Nakashidze. Representatives of Czech mass-media, banks, companies and government agencies were among the guests of the event.

Milan Hovorka, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce of Czech Republic gave a welcome speech and talked about the importance of deepening economic relations between two countries.

First Deputy Minister of Economy gave a large presentation. During his speech, Archil Kekelia talked about the executed reforms and investment environment in our country.

Archil Kekelia also held a private meeting with Milan Hovorka, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce of Czech Republic. The parties talked about the importance of sophisticating contractual bases, support in export matters and exchange visits from businessmen. Milan Hvorka’s visit to Georgia is planned for autumn of this year.
