A peaceful protest rally to be held on April 1st

The Civil Front held a special briefing organized by Jaba Jishkariani which was linked with the Real TV report, Sakartvelos Respublika writes. The report focused on the possibility of a bloody revolution in Georgia inspired by events in Libya. As it turned out, the major role in the revolution will probably be played by the Gachechiladze brothers.

As Jishkariani stated, such a plan didn’t even cross their minds. “The protest will take place on April 1st and it will be peaceful,” he said. “We declare that the current authority is illegal. We want to have free press, free court. We want to live in the democratic country,” Jishkariani stated.



The second emission of Eurobonds planned

The Ministry of Finance of Georgia plans its second Eurobond emission this year, Sakartvelos Respublika reports. Its amount will be USD 500 millions, First Deputy Minister of Finance Papuna Petriashvili stated at the joint session of parliamentary committees of European integration, foreign affairs and Diasporas issues.

“The amendment is taken to the part of liabilities of the budget. The new loan which is USD 500 millions should be used to cover the old one taken in 2008,” Petriashvili said.

According to him, after the consultations with the National Bank of Georgia it was decided to issue extra GEL 1 million state liabilities.



Wastepaper will protect the natural resources

The National Bureau of Execution in the frames of the movement “Green Box” handed 1.5 tons of wastepaper to the Centre of Children and Youth of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Issues, Sakartvelos Respublika reports. Deputy Chairman of the National Bureau of Execution Erekle Gvinianidze and the deputy director of the Centre of Children and Youth Anna Sabakhtarishvili took part in the event.

According to Gvinianidze, The National Bureau of Execution will continue supporting the project “Green Box” in the future and will join the movement organized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Issues on territorial bureaus.

The National Bureau of Execution took part in the event for the second time. In the frames of the project, collaborators of the Bureau handed 1500 kilograms of wastepaper to the paper reprocessing company Ltd LMS for further processing.
