Controversies between Turkey and Greece over Azeri gas price

By Messenger Staff
Monday, April 4
Turkish pipeline company Botash has been conducting serious negotiations with the Greek company DEPA over the transit price for Azeri gas transported to Greece via Turkey. The price for Azeri gas has increased recently from USD 120 up to USD 250, therefore Turkish Botash demands that its Greek partner increase the transit fees payable to Turkey. The Greek party however wants to maintain the old price. It is premature to guess how this will end.
