Nika Gilauri cannot control his government

Akhali Taoba writes that MP Giorgi Tsagareishvili has assessed The Governmental Week held at the Parliament. His major notice is related to the format of the briefing, which according to Tsagareishvili, was not agreed with the independent MP/s.

The MP also considers unjustified the fact that Zurab Adeishvili, the Minister of Justice and Ivane Merabsihvili, the Minister of Internal Affairs, and Khatuna Kalmakhelidze, the Minister of Penitentiary, Corrections and Legal Aid did not address the legislative institution with the speeches in the framework of the "Governmental Week”. According to the statement of Tsagareishvili, besides the important issues raised during the week, which regarded the social sphere, the hearing of these heads of the three agencies would have made the debates more interesting.

“As it seems Mr.Gilauri is called PM only on documents, however he cannot control government. Vano Merabishvili together with Mikheil Saakashvili determines government’s policy,” Tsagareishvili said.
