The International Monetary Fund has recommended that employers in Central Asian and Caucasus countries do not increase salaries because experts consider that doing so would trigger large inflation. Georgian economic analysts suggest that to stop inflation economic development needs to happen quickly. The increase of salaries automatically increase the inflation process, the only solution is development of economic growth, think the Georgian analysts. However they suggest that the average salary should be increased and that eventually this will facilitate the development of the economy.
