Presentation of Georgian Investment Climate will be held in Different Countries

The Georgian National Investment Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia will hold presentations of the investment climate in different countries of the world in connection with the Independence Day of Georgia on May 26, 2011.

On May 24-26, 2011, the Capital of Austria, Vienna will host one of the most prestigious real estates exhibitions “Real Vienna 2011.” GNIA will participate in the event and present current investment projects of this realm. Austria, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, USA, Romania, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and others are among the participants of the event.

Visit of the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Vera Kobalia to Germany is planned on May 25-29. The Minister will participate in Transport Conference in Leipzig and will meet the Deputy Minister of Transport and Technologies of Germany, and Chairman of Committee of Economy and Technologies. Vera Kobalia will hold meetings with the representatives of German business realms in Berlin afterwards and she will make a presentation about the investment environment of Georgia.

GNIA and Georgian Embassy in India will organize the Day of Georgian Wine on May 26. 3 Georgian wine-making companies -“Tbilgvino,” “Bagrationi” and “Wineman” will participate in the event with the support of GNIA export promotion service. Indian guests will be hosted by Georgian Folk Ensemble “Chveneburebi,” Georgian dishes prepared by Georgian cooks will also be presented to the guests. The aim of the festivity is the promotion of Georgian culture, dishes and products. Representatives of the Indian government, businessmen working in Georgia and other businessmen interested in working here are invited to the event.

Director of GNIA will meet businessmen working in hotel sector in Delhi and she will make a presentation about tourism infrastructure and investment opportunities in Georgia on May 27.

Investment conference will be held in Kiev, Ukraine on May 27, 2011. The event is organized by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, GNIA, Georgian-Ukrainian business club, “BG Capital,” “Mgaloblishvili, Dzidziguri, Kipiani” Legal Company and “Rakia Georgia Poti Free Industrial Zone.” The event will be attended by the members of government and leading companies who will be addressed by First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Archil Kekelia.

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia will visit the capital of Norway, Oslo on May 30-31. She will meet the Ministers of Transport and Communications, Oil and Energy. The organization of a Georgian-Oslo business forum is also planned.
