Investment potential of Armenian Diaspora

During his recent visit to the UK, Armenian PM Tigran Sarkisian met representatives of the Armenian Diaspora from different countries in London. During this meeting the PM expressed his assurance that contacts with Armenian businessmen around the world would help to support Armenia in handling modern challenges.

According to the PM not only Armenia but the entire Armenian nation faces serious challenges, therefore elaboration of solid joint programmes should be arranged for this reason. The Armenian PM introduced the Armenian businessmen with the business environment in the country, prospective investment programmes as well as regional issues which influence the country’s economy. As Armenian analyst Tigran Avakian suggested, the investment potential of the Armenian Diaspora could accumulate as much as USD 400 bln.
