Baku is the most expensive city in the South Caucasus

According to research on the cost of living in major cities, Baku has overtaken Istanbul, Frankfurt, Brussels, Berlin, Dublin, Prague, Madrid, Lisbon, Warsaw, Los Angeles and Washington DC . Yerevan is less expensive than Baku, Moscow and Kiev but it is more expensive compared to Tbilisi, Tashkent, Ashgabat and Minsk. The Mercer Rating informs while based its research on the prices of more than 200 commodities such as food, property and petrol.
