Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Visited Georgia

On July 14-15 the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Konstantin Grishenko paid an official visit to Georgia.

Grishenko met his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze on Friday and two ministers focused on a wide range of issues concerning bilateral relations and multilateral co-operation between their two countries, as well as existing political, economic, cultural and humanitarian co-operation as well as the bilateral legal basis for such co-operation.

The two ministers signed a plan of cooperation between the two ministries. The agreement includes a plan of consultations in bilateral and multi-lateral relations between the two ministries regarding the most topical issues.

Ukraine`s Foreign Minister started his official visit to Georgia yesterday. Mr. Grishenko met with the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili at the House of Justice in Batumi.
