Resource Officers visited Children’s Day Care Center

Resource officers of educational institutions and representatives of the company “Barambo” visited Children’s Day Care Center, 24 Hours reports. In the frame of the joint event, the guests provided the children with sweets, toys and other gifts.

According to the resource officers, despite a hot summer, they are willing to take part in charity events and provide assistance to schoolchildren and children living in Day Care Centers and Orphanages.

In the scope of the charity events, the resource officers have the opportunity to inform all members of society of their activities.

In order to keep schools safe, Resource Officers commenced their activities in the Public Schools of Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Poti, Gori, Kvareli and Rustavi.

The Resource Officers’ duty is to prevent conflicts and provide the schoolchildren with any kind of aid. They are not allowed to punish the schoolchildren. They are responsible for the safety of the schoolchildren. The new initiative is being implemented in the frame of the Safe School program, and envisages giving parents a full guarantee of their children’s safety.



Goderdzi Ski Resort To Host First Guests In December

The Chairman of the Ajara Government, along with the ministers of Regional Development, Infrastructure and Energy, discussed draft project details of the Goderdzi Pass "Four Seasons Resort" in Qeda, Akhali Taoba reports.

As experts concluded, same premium winter resorts and ski trails as found in Gudauri can be introduced in Goderdzi Pass as well.

“On the Pass, cable cars and leisure complexes will be built. The resort will attract tourists all year round and double the number of tourists in the region. The first ski lift and resort should be up and running from next winter,” noted Levan Varshalomidze.

Chairman of Ajara government Levan Varsahlomidze together with the Minister of the Regional Development visited Qeda last week.
