Hunting season opens on August 20

The hunting season for migratory birds will be open from August 20, it was announced by the Ministry of Environmental Resources announced. Hunters must have a valid licence in order to hunt legally, which can be obtained from the Ministry as well as a weapons licence. Hunting is prohibited near the protected territories and there are certain other rules which outlaw starting fires and limit the amount of birds each hunter is permitted to kill.
