Bakradze visits the USA

David Bakradze, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia and a Parliamentary delegation left for the USA last Friday. Bakradze will hold meetings with US Congressmen and Senators, and will meet the Deputy Secretary of State, William Burns.

In Washington D.C. the meetings of the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia and several Congressmen are planned. Mr. Bakradze will also meet with Senators Roy Blunt and John McCain. The parties will present Georgia's challenges, its democratic reforms and security issues. Meetings with leading US media are also planned.
