English Language Teachers Continue to Arrive

Wednesday, November 2
Native English-Speaking Teachers continue to arrive as participants in the educational program “Teach and Learn with Georgia.” On November 1 a new group of teachers arrived from different countries, including native English-speaking teachers from the USA, Philippines and Ireland. They will work in public schools in the regions of Guria, Imereti, Kakheti and Samegrelo. These volunteers have respectable qualifications and previous experience working for similar programs elsewhere in the world.

The project “Teach and Learn with Georgia,” began one year ago. It recruits, trains, and coordinates native English-speaking teachers who co-teach English along with the local English teachers in Georgia's primary and secondary schools. By the end of the year, 1500 volunteers will have worked within the program in Georgia.
