The Georgian government took responsibility for decreasing inflation to six percent by the end of this year. In November, average annual inflation was 9.3%. To hit targets, in December inflation will have to fall by 3.3%. The highest inflation rate in Georgia was in 2010, at 15%. That year according to the IMF Georgia was 165th out of 184 counties in terms of combating inflation. Only 25 days are left to the end of this year and it is a serious challenge to get inflation down.
