Targamadze held briefing on liberalization of Criminal Code

The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili has opened a six kilometer cycling lane in Kobuleti together with the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ramaz Nikolaishvili. The cycling lane was first used by the president. The president drew attention to infrastructural projects and development plans in Kobuleti. He said that such projects are very important for the region.

The construction of the modern bike lane is being implemented by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, with funding from the government and the World Bank. For the cycling lane red asphalt, which is produced with German technology, was used for the first time in Georgia.

Saakashvili also drew attention to the fact that the development of infrastructure is important not only for promoting tourism, but also for the employment of people.
