Privatization plans

The Ministry of Economy reports that it has fulfilled its 2011 privatization plans and in doing so has put more than USD 115 million in to the state budget. As Minister Vera Kobalia stated, this result was facilitated by the successful reforms in the country, easy registration, banking services, cooperation with real estate agencies, and introduction to electronic options. A great amount of resources has been mobilized through selling agricultural lands, which has caused some concern among independent analysts though.
