Transanatolian gas pipeline

Turkey and Azerbaijan have signed an agreement on construction of a Transanatolian gas pipeline. This new pipeline will further increase the capacity of Azeri gas transportation into Europe. Georgia looks set to benefit from this project as the pipeline will almost certainly have to run through Georgia to reach the Anatolia region of Turkey.
