Do you think Georgian Universities can prepare their students as qualified and professional staff?

“Well, I think it depends on the specialty of a student. No doubt we have number of professional lecturers and scholars at universities who deliver lectures quite professionally. However there is other side, how the students get knowledge, are they motivated to have a good knowledge from lectures. I was a student some time ago and I cannot say that all of my friends were keen on attending the lectures. So there is not only one side to be blamed.”

“Are you kidding? Of course no! There is no appropriate university or other higher level institution where a student gets professional information. You know what the most lecturers doing at the lectures? They were telling what a stressful life they have, what a low salary they have etc. So what? I do not care about their private life, their job is to teach us. I graduated from the University and bring up children. I am unemployd, because I am not competitive in my career.”

“It depends on field and university. There 2-3 universities which have good qualified and well educated lecturers. But generally, I can say that Georgian universities cannot give students appropriate knowledge.”
