Belarus importing Azeri natural gas

Belarus plans to import Azeri natural gas in 2012 via transit through Ukraine. In 2011 Belarus received 980,000 tons of oil from Azerbaijan via Ukraine. Although the main exporter of oil into Belarus is Russia, import of oil and natural gas from Azerbaijan is increasing.
