Chinese to invest in Kakheti

Governor of Kakheti Giorgi Gviniashvili recently hosted a Chinese delegation in Telavi to discuss the possibility of co-operation between China and Georgia. Chinese officials expressed their interest in the Georgian agricultural industry, as well as a willingness to invest – starting with an initial 40 million USD venture. Gviniashvili expressed his satisfaction with the results of the negotiations so far.
