Hundred “Future Classroom” will be opened in schools of Georgia by the end of year

Tuesday, January 31
A demonstrative lesson in Geography was held for the schoolchildren of Rustavi Public School #24 at the “Future Classroom” of Tbilisi Experimental School #1. The interactive lesson was conducted using a Smart Board and was attended by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia.

In this multifunctional, technology-equipped classroom, all lessons are conducted with educational tools displayed on the electronic interactive board as well as personal monitors for each student. The teacher can observe the testing process of the schoolchildren with the help of her monitor. When needed, she can make comments and direct the schoolchildren individually. All completed tasks are able to be saved electronically, to be checked in the future.

The Future Classroom, which was established by the president’s initiative, features unique capabilities for instruction. The new technologies with which the classroom is equipped promote effective learning. Both teachers and students feel comfortable in the classroom. Almost all subjects are taught in the multifunctional classroom. Teachers of various subjects actively use these virtual labs. A high quality visualization and audio system provides the opportunity for interactive presentations.

Tbilisi Experimental School #1 often hosts the schoolchildren and teachers of other schools in order to hold demonstrative lessons in this Future Classroom.

Another future classroom has already been opened in Kvareli. The distribution of technology will continue, and soon multifunctional future classrooms will be opened in every major city of Georgia.
