Monday, March 19
On March 17, the Sport Relief charity run took place in Tbilisi initiated by the British Embassy.

The Sport Relief Mile is an initiative of British charity Comic Relief, which raises money to help vulnerable and disadvantaged families and children worldwide.

Sport Relief runners in Tbilisi joined thousands of people across the world who took part in similar events.

Judith Gough, United Kingdom Ambassador to Georgia, and other representatives of the international community took part in the run.

BBC Worldwide filmed the Tbilisi event and will include that material in a Sport Relief television show.

Sport Relief Tbilisi raised funds for the SOCO Foundation, a local humanitarian organization.
